Artist Ola Van Cleef is showcasing intricately detailed paintings inspired by Indian mythology. The artist, who divides his time between Paris and Puducherry, has used Swarovski crystals and chocolate-paper wrapping in the 50 paintings.

Written by British novelist Roald Dahl, ‘The Twits’ is a humorous children’s book, first published in 1980. It was later adapted for stage by David Wood. The story is about a couple, Mr and Mrs Twit, who don’t believe in hygiene, and are constantly playing pranks on each other. They even keep monkeys caged upside down in their back garden. Director Vandana Prabhu is presenting Wood’s adaptation.

Stand-up comic Nitin Gupta will put together a show that experiments with many things—the origin of clothing, the birth of sexual stereotypes, the invention of jewellery, and more. Gupta, a chemical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has performed at some of the biggest college festivals across the country and usually seeks answers to questions like why nostalgia leads to war, or why most feminists are actually anti-women.
