Mindtree wins ING Vysya next-gen mobility programme deal
The software firm has created a digital roadmap to help the bank penetrate untapped markets
Bangalore-based software services exporter Mindtree Ltd has won a deal from private sector bank ING Vysya Bank Ltd, as a strategic partner for the bank’s next-generation mobility programme.
As part of the programme, Mindtree has launched a retail banking application that will help ING Vysysa deliver a better banking experience to its clients while creating a digital roadmap designed to help the lender penetrate untapped markets.
“ING Vysya has been our strategic client for over nine years," said Gaurav Johri, senior vice-president and head of banking and financial services and insurance for Mindtree. “It is imperative for banks to have a well-thought digital strategy blueprint to enable rapid go-to-market and also provide superior customer experience."
“Our digital roadmap will help us level the playing field with our larger competitors by creating innovative solutions for our customers," said Aniruddha Paul, chief information officer of ING Vysya.
Mindtree shares closed up 0.38% at ₹ 978.75 on Thursday on the Bombay Stock Exchange, while the benchmark Sensex gained 0.48% at 26,271.85 points.
