KPIT Technologies Q1 net profit rises 17.1%
The company posted net profit at Rs33.5 crore from Rs28.6 crore a year earlier
Mumbai: KPIT Technologies Ltd posted a 17.1% rise in fiscal first-quarter net profit at Rs33.5 crore from Rs28.6 crore in the year-ago period.
On a sequential basis, net profit declined by 26.6%.
This was on account of wage hikes, visa costs and rupee depreciation of 3% in the quarter, impacting India revenues.
Shares of KPIT Technologies fell 1.58% to Rs174.65 on Tuesday on BSE, while the benchmark Sensex gained 1.21% to 26,025.80 points.
